Dr Tyberghien graduated in medicine at the KU Leuven. He specialized in neurosurgery (1997-2005) including a fellowship in university hospital CHRU Lille. In November 2005 he started his neurosurgical activity in Brussels. He is neurosurgeon in the Europe hospitals St Elisabeth. He is also a consultant in the St Maria Hospital in Halle. With 20 years of experience he starts a private consultation in Hoeilaart
 
Dr Tyberghiens special interest goes to general neurosurgery including surgery of the spinal column and cérébral microneurosurgery
 
Dr Tyberghien is accreditated. He is a member of the professional board of neurosurgery.
